The search for ghost hunters is in full swing, and if you are looking to hire someone for a job, it may be best to hire an experienced ghost hunter, according to a recent report.
In the first quarter of 2018, more than half of all job listings on the job-hunting site Monsterhunters had ghost hunters listed, with one in five listings having hired a ghost hunter.
“Ghost hunters have been one of the most requested jobs on Monsterhunter, but are under-represented in terms of their potential,” the Monsterhunter website said in a statement.
“It’s not just because they aren’t ‘hot’ on the site, but because they have an extremely high turnover rate.”
“If you hire a ghost hunting agency, they are more likely to hire a non-traditional, professional, experienced ghost hunting contractor to assist them with the job,” the statement added.
A spokeswoman for Monsterhunts, which is owned by American media company CBS Corp, said hiring a ghosthunter was an important part of the hiring process.
“We encourage job seekers to do this and ensure that their employer is not going to be impacted negatively by the hiring of a ghost,” the spokeswoman said.
A study commissioned by Monsterhunting said hiring ghost hunters could save up to $5,000 in recruitment costs.
“While some ghost hunters may feel uncomfortable about their involvement in this process, the more ghost hunters you hire, the less likely you are to be contacted by ghost hunters themselves,” the study said.
“If hiring a professional ghost hunter was a non issue, then hiring a qualified non-professional ghost hunter would make the process even more challenging.”
