Why I’m not interested in Reddit’s new job search

The Reddit job search site is getting rid of its “New” job posting system and replacing it with a more streamlined experience.
The company says the move will help with employee retention and encourage more applicants to submit their resumes online.
It also says the process should improve overall employee productivity.
“We’ve worked hard to improve the experience and bring the content of the site to the workplace,” the company said in a blog post on Monday.
“This means that applicants are not forced to leave their homes for hours to get a job, and we are removing the barriers to entry and getting new people into the field.”
The move comes as other companies like Facebook are looking to improve their hiring and retention efforts.
In February, Facebook announced it was eliminating its own job search app for all employees in an effort to improve its retention and retention metrics.
